2019
Clutter and Chaos
It started when we had to wade through our cluttered store room, just to find a small tub stored all the way back at the corner of the room. Frustrated by the chaos, we browsed local hardware stores, hoping to find something we could use to fix the mess. But couldn’t find anything that we needed. That was the first sign.
2020
Catakyst and concept
We returned home disappointed. Then, when COVID hit, we had a little too much time on our hands. So, we went to our shed and began developing the first prototype. It was not perfect but it was the catalyst for the EzyRack concept.
2020-2021
Challenges and constraints
With the concept buzzing in our heads, we quickly found people to help us bring this to life. We had no idea of the challenges and constraints. We had no clue that it would take two years, five countries, one pandemic, and many more setbacks to get this concept off the ground. But we had enough conviction in EzyRack to keep moving forward.
2021-2022
Confusion and complications
We were exhausted but we kept looking for suppliers. We had tested the idea and assembled our first design. But to scale it we needed suppliers. After a long and hard search, we found a Chinese supplier. Notwithstanding the language barrier, the first set of samples were of disappointing quality. So, we began looking for ways to boost the quality to the standard we needed.
